AHERA Inspections and Management Plans
The Asbestos Hazard
Emergency Response Act (AHERA) governs educational entities kindergarten
through 12th grade (k-12). This regulation has very specific requirements for
conducting statistically reliable building inspections using valid analytical
means and methods.
Wherever asbestos-containing materials are found, the
location and asbestos content must be documented in an AHERA Management Plan,
also known as an Operations and Management (O&M) Plan. These plans are then
used as living documents for the ongoing maintenance, operation, and management
of the school building.
Environmental Support Network, Inc. is skilled in the
conductance of AHERA Building Inspections and the creation of AHERA Management
Plans.
