Pollution Prevention Programs
Title III of the
Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act (SARA) specifies that industries
which store regulated chemicals must maintain adequate policies, procedures,
and planning documents designed to assist with the adverse consequences of
pollution.
These plans include Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWP3);
Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure Plans (SPCC); emergency
preparedness plans; and other planning documents necessary to countermand the
effects of unwanted releases or accidents. Many of these requirements
necessitate annual reporting or updating on a more frequent basis. Moreover,
the requirements resident in these documents must be explained to employees and
those designated for emergency response.
Environmental Support Network, Inc.
can prepare these documents, provide the requisite training, and assist your
company in achieving autonomous compliance.
